TLC arrived on site and set up for the excavation of the sewer line under the deck and the sectional repair in the basement. We excavated by hand in front of the deck and found the terra cotta clay pipe to have a connection to the cast iron pipe. We also found that the cast iron pipe was channel rotted through the foundation wall into the basement. We cut out and recipes in with PVC and had work inspected by code enforcement. We then backfilled the area and put down seed. We then cut out a section of the line in the basement and trooped in with 4” and 3” PVC pipe and fittings. Cleaned up all areas and work is complete.
